INGREDIENTS
- 8 apples
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp lemons
- 2 cups walnuts
- 1 cup pitted dates
- An eighth tsp salt
TOOLS
- 1 peeler
- 1 knife
- 1 squeezer
- 1 food processor
- 2 bowls
- 1 lasagna pan
- 1 spoon
- 1 colander
STEPS
Peel apples with a peeler.
Chop peeled apples.
Put water and raisins in a bowl, then let it soak for 5 minutes.
Drain soaked raisins in a colander.
Squeeze lemon with a squeezer.
Put 2 chopped apples, raisins, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a food processor. Blitz to get an apple filling.
Combine 6 apples and lemon juice in a bowl with a spoon. Add apple filling to the bowl and mix to get an apple mixture.
Transfer the apple mixture to a lasagna pan.
Put walnuts, pitted dates, salt, and 1 tsp cinnamon in a food processor. Blitz to get crumbles.
Spread crumbles over the apple mixture.
