INGREDIENTS

- 1 lb lentils
- 1 cup celery sticks
- 1 cup onions
- 1.5 cups carrots
- a quarter tsp ground thyme
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 bay leaves

STEPS
Peel onions and carrots, then chop them. Then, dice celery sticks.
In a pot, combine ground thyme, pepper, bay leaves, celery sticks, onions, and carrots. After heating the mixture, add 2 liters of water and the lentils to the pot. Using a spoon, combine everything. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for 40 minutes, then blitz with a blender to make a smooth soup.
