INGREDIENTS
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup butter
- 1 orange
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup flaked coconut

- 2 bowls
- 1 whisk
- 1 zester
- 1 squeezer
- 1 knife
- 1 saucepan
- 1 platter
STEPS
Zest an orange with a zester.
Cut the orange in half.
Squeeze the orange halves with a squeezer.
Melt half a cup of butter in a saucepan.
Grease a muffin tin with an eighth cup of butter.
Combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and half a tsp of salt in a bowl. Whisk the ingredients together to get a flour mixture.
Put oranges zest, melted butter, and orange juice in a bowl. Crack eggs in the bowl and whisk. Add half a cup of flaked coconut along with the flour mixture and whisk to get a batter.
Transfer the batter to the muffin tin 2/3 full and sprinkle an eighth cup of flaked coconut over it.
Preheat the oven to 350°F for 12-15 minutes.
Put the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 18 minutes.
Take out the muffin tin from the oven to get orange tea muffins.
