INGREDIENTS
- 2.25 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- half tsp salt
- 1 cup shortening
- 0.4 oz cooking spray
TOOLS
- 1 bowl
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 cookie cutter
- 1 board
- 1 oven
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 fork
STEPS
Put 2 cups of all-purpose flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, baking powder, shortening, and salt in a bowl and mix with a fork for 2 minutes. Then add half a cup of cold water and mix again with a fork to get dough.
Sprinkle the remaining all-purpose flour on a board to get a floured surface.
Place the dough on the floured surface and roll it to 1/4 thickness with a rolling pin.
Cut the dough into circles with a cookie cutter.
Preheat the oven to 350°F for 15 minutes.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Then place the dough circles on it. Put the baking sheet in a hot oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove the baking sheet from the oven.
