INGREDIENTS
- 18 oz potatoes
- 3 shallots
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp mustard seeds
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- half tsp black pepper
TOOLS
- 1 knife
- 1 mortar
- 1 pan
- 1 colander
- 1 bowl
- 1 oven
- 1 roasting tray
- 1 spoon
STEPS
Peel potatoes and shallots. Cut peeled shallots into quarters. Peel garlic cloves.
Crush peeled garlic using a mortar.
Put 4 cups of water in a pan and add potatoes. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Rinse and drain the boiling potatoes in a colander for 2 minutes.
Put the potatoes in a bowl and add quartered shallots, crushed garlic, mustard seeds, olive oil, salt and black pepper to the bowl and stir with a spoon.
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Put the potatoes mixture in a roasting tray and bake for 40 minutes in the oven.
