INGREDIENTS
- 2½ cups cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cups brown sugar
- 2 cups wheat bran
- 1 cup raisins
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ oz cooking spray
TOOLS
- 1 strainer
- 2 bowls
- 1 oven
- 1 muffin pan
- 1 spoon
- 1 whisk
STEPS
Put cake flour in a strainer. Add baking powder and salt. Shake the strainer (above a bowl).
Add brown sugar, wheat bran, and raisins to the bowl. Stir with a spoon.
Crack eggs in a second bowl. Add vegetable oil, whole milk and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture for 4 minutes using a whisk.
Add the egg mixture to the first bowl and whisk for 3 minutes to get a muffin mixture.
Spray muffin pans with cooking spray. Fill the pans two-thirds full with the muffin mixture.
Preheat the oven to 355°F for 12 minutes.
Put the muffin pans in the hot oven and bake for 15 minutes.
