INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1 lemon
- ½ tbsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup scallions
- ¼ cup cilantro

- 1 squeezer
- 1 knife
- 1 saucepan
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 lid
STEPS
Zest the lemon using a zester.
Squeeze the zested lemon using a squeezer to get lemon juice.
Cut scallions. Chop cilantro.
Heat the sunflower oil in a saucepan. Stir the long grain rice in the saucepan with a wooden spoon. Add 1.5 cups of water, 1 tbsp of lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and ground turmeric. Stir with a wooden spoon one more, then cover the saucepan with a lid. Cook for 15 minutes on low heat, Remove the lid, then stir in the sliced scallions and cilantro with a wooden spoon in the saucepan. Finally, remove from the heat.
