INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ tbsp active dry yeast
- 1½ tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp hot sauce
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1¼ cups cheddar cheese
- ½ oz cooking spray
TOOLS
- 1 knife
- 2 bowls
- 1 microwavable bowl
- 1 microwave
- 1 oven
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 spoon
- 1 clean towel
- 1 electric mixture
STEPS
Deseed jalapeno pepper.
Chop the deseeded jalapeno pepper, then chop cheddar cheese into 1/2 inch cubes.
Combine active dry yeast, half a tbsp of granulated sugar, and half a cup of water in a bowl with a spoon. Set the bowl aside for 10 minutes to get a foamy mixture.
Put milk in a microwavable bowl and heat it for 1 minute to get warm milk.
Combine all-purpose flour, hot sauce, chopped jalapeno peppers, and warm milk in a bowl with an electic mixer. Crack an egg and add it to the mixture. Then, add 1 tbsp of granulated sugar and 1 tsp of salt. Mix again until it gets foamy. Knead for 6 minutes, then add cheddar cheese to the dough. Continue kneading for 2 more minutes and cover with a clean towel. Set aside for 60 minutes and remove the towel from the bowl to get a ready dough.
Shape the dough into balls.
Preheat the oven to 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Transfer the dough balls to the baking sheet and put it in the oven for 30 minutes.
It’s ready to be served !
