INGREDIENTS
- 5 inches ginger
- 1 lemon
- ¼ cup spearmint
- 2 tbsp honey
TOOLS

- 1 zester
- 1 squeezer
- 1 saucepan
- 1 strainer
- 1 spoon
- 1 lid
STEPS
Peel and chop ginger.
Zest the lemon.
Squeeze the zested lemon.
Chop spearmint.
Combine ginger, lemon zest, and spearmint in a saucepan with a spoon. Add in 6 cups of water and heat the mixture for 2 minutes. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook for 2 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for 30 more minutes to get a ginger mixture.
Strain the ginger mixture with a strainer.
Combine the ginger liquid, lemon juice, and honey in a saucepan with a spoon. Cook for 2 minutes to get hot lemon and ginger.
