INGREDIENTS
- three quarters tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1.5 tsp chipotle powder
- three quarters tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
TOOLS
- 1 knife
- 1 oven
- 1 skillet
- 1 spoon
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 parchment paper
- 1 mixing bowl
STEPS
Cut the pecans in half.
Put honey, chipotle powder, and ground cinnamon in a skillet and turn on the heat.
Add the pecan halves to the skillet. Stir with a spoon until the pecans are evenly coated. Then remove from the heat.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the coated pecans on it.
Preheat the oven to 390°F for 17 minutes.
Place the baking sheet in a hot oven and bake for 10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and remove the baking sheet from the oven.
Mix the granulated sugar and salt in a mixing bowl with a spoon. Transfer the contents of the baking sheet to a mixing bowl and stir with a spoon once more.
