INGREDIENTS
- half tsp salt
- 2 cup basmati rice
- half tsp cumin seeds
- three quarters tsp ground turmeric
- 5 cloves
- 2 tsp onion powder
TOOLS
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 vegetable broth pot
- 1 lid
- 6 platter
STEPS
Heat a pot and add vegetable broth. Add basmati rice, cumin seeds, ground turmeric, cloves, onion powder, and 4 cups of water to the pot. Stir everything together with a wooden spoon. Cook the mixture for 3 minutes. Next, sprinkle half a tsp of salt and cover the pot with a lid. Let it simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Then, take off the lid and stir for 2 more minutes. Turn off the heat and cover it again with the lid. Set aside for 10 minutes to get cooked white rice, then remove the lid.
Transfer cooked white rice to a platter.
