INGREDIENTS
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 lb red potatoes
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup whipping cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup garlic
TOOLS
- 1 knife
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 aluminum foil
- 1 oven
- 1 saucepan
- 1 potato’s masher
- 1 colander
- 1 bowl
STEPS
Preheat oven to 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
Wrap garlic using aluminum foil. Put the wrapped garlic on a baking sheet in the oven. Cook for 20 minutes.
Boil water in a saucepan. Add red potatoes and cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Rinse and drain boiled potatoes in a colander.
Peel the red potatoes.
Turn the heat off and take the baking sheet out of the oven.
Unwrap the garlic. Peel roasted garlic.
Transfer the peeled red potatoes and garlic to a bowl. Add whole milk, whipping cream and butter to the bowl. Sprinkle half a tsp of salt and black pepper over the mixture. Use a potato masher.
