INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 15 ounce chickpeas
- a quarter tsp paprika
- a quarter tsp cumin
- 4 tbsp lemons
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 7 cloves garlic
TOOLS
- 1 colander
- 1 squeezer
- 1 knife
- 1 bowl
- 1 food processor
- 1 spoon
STEPS
Rinse and drain chickpeas in a colander.
Reserve 6 tbsp of chickpeas water in a bowl.
Squeeze lemons using a squeezer.
Peel and mince garlic
Add drained chickpeas to the reserved chickpea water. Add olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper to the bowl. Mix the contents of the bowl with a spoon to get a chickpea mixture.
Put garlic, tahini, and the chickpea mixture in a food processor. Blitz to get a tahini and garlic paste.
Transfer the tahini and garlic paste to a bowl and mix with a spoon.
It’s ready to be served !
