INGREDIENTS

  • a third cup butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate
  • a quarter tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp whole milk

TOOLS

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 whisk

STEPS

Heat butter in a saucepan. Stir in semisweet chocolate with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes. Add vanilla extract, salt, granulated sugar, and whole milk. Whisk occasionally for 10 minutes to get chocolate frosting.
