INGREDIENTS
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ oz cooking spray
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup chocolate chips

- 1 baking pan

STEPS
Preheat the oven to 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
Combine butter and granulated sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer. Add all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, and a quarter tsp of salt to the bowl. Beat the mixture for 2 minutes before adding chocolate chips and mixing to get a dough.
Cut the dough into circles.
Spray a baking pan with cooking spray.
Transfer the dough to the baking pan.
Put the baking pan in the oven and bake for 12 minutes.
Take the baking pan out of the oven to get chocolate chip shortbread.
Set the chocolate chip shortbread aside for 10 minutes to cool.
