INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 10 ounce maraschino cherries
- ½ oz cooking spray

STEPS
Rinse and drain maraschino cherries in a colander.
Chop the drained maraschino cherries.
Combine butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and all-purpose flour in a bowl. Whisk in chopped maraschino cherries with a spoon to get a cherry mixture.
Shape the cherry mixture into equal balls.
Preheat the oven to 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and place the cherry balls. Transfer the cookie sheet to the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
