INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup honey
- 3 lb baby carrots
TOOLS
- 1 knife
- 1 bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 platter
- 1 wooden spoon
- 2 saucepans
- 1 lid
- 1 colander
- 1 steamer basket
STEPS
Cut baby carrots in half lengthwise.
Heat butter in a saucepan for 2 minutes to get melted butter.
Combine melted butter, ketchup, and honey in a bowl with a whisk to get a sweet ketchup mixture.
Heat 4 cups of water in a saucepan for 4 minutes.
Put carrots in a steamer basket. Put the steamer basket on the saucepan and cover it with a lid. Cook for 8 minutes to get steamed carrots. Turn off the heat and take off the lid to get steamed carrots.
Drain steamed carrots in a colander.
Heat a saucepan, add carrots and sweet ketchup mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon and cook for 3 minutes, then serve carrots on a platter.
