INGREDIENTS

  • 3 lbs onions
  • ½ cup margarine
  • 1 tsp salt

TOOLS

  • 1 knife
  • 1 microwave
  • 1 crock pot
  • 1 lid
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 1 bowl

STEPS

Peel and slice onions.


Put margarine in a bowl. Microwave the bowl on low heat for 1 minute.


Combine onions, melted margarine, and salt in a crock pot with a wooden spoon. Cover with a lid and turn on low heat for 9 hours. Turn off the heat and remove the lid to get caramelized onions.
