INGREDIENTS
- 16 oz beyond beef
- 3 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- ¼ tsp ginger
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups white rice
- 1 cup broccoli
- 1 green onion
- ½ tsp sesame seeds

- 1 skillet

STEPS
Peel and slice garlic cloves.
Rinse and drain white rice in a colander.
Combine white rice with 3 cups of water in a saucepan and boil for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat to get cooked white rice.
Trim and chop broccoli.
Rinse chopped broccoli.
Drain the broccoli in a colander.
Put drained broccoli in a saucepan with 2 cups of water and cook for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat to get steamed broccoli.
Peel and slice green onions.
Heat a skillet, add beef and cook for 5 minutes, then add sliced garlic.
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, crushed red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a bowl with a whisk to get an asian sauce.
Pour asian sauce into the skillet and let it simmer for 2 minutes to get cooked beyond beef.
Transfer white rice to a serving bowl. Top with beyond beef and steamed broccoli. Then, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
