INGREDIENTS

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ cups applesauce
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 baking dish

STEPS

Combine olive oil, granulated sugar, and applesauce in a bowl with a whisk.


Put all-purpose flour, baking soda, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix together to get a flour mixture.


Combine the applesauce mixture and the flour mixture with a whisk to get a cake batter.


Pour the cake batter into a baking dish.


Preheat the oven to 390°F for 12-15 minutes.


Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.


Turn off the heat and remove the apple sauce cake from the oven.
