INGREDIENTS

  • ⅓ cup wasabi
  • ¼ cup fried garlic
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 Ib meatless burgers patties
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red onion
  • ¼ cucumbers
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 7 oz kimchi
  • 7 oz vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cups ice water

  • 1 spatula

STEPS

Combine kimchi, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and vegan mayonnaise in a blender. Blend the mixture to get kimchi mayonnaise.


Chill kimchi mayonnaise in the fridge for 30 minutes.


Peel a red onion and slice it.


Put ice water in a bowl. Add sliced onion and set it aside for 30 minutes to get crisped onions.


Deseed cucumbers and slice them thinly.


Put sliced cucumbers in a bowl.


Trim red chili pepper and slice it.


Heat a skillet on medium temperature.


Crush wasabi in a bowl. Stir in fried garlic and sesame seeds to get a sesame seed crust.


Add butter to the heated skillet. Add meatless burger patties and cook for 4 minutes.


Flip the meatless burger patties with a spatula.


Cook for another 4 minutes, then turn off the heat to get meatless burger patties.


Combine soy sauce and 1 tbsp sesame oil in a bowl. Blend with a hand blender to get a soy sauce mixture.


Dip meatless burger patties in the soy sauce mixture.


Cover the burgers in the sesame seed crust.


Put burger buns in serving plate. Add crusted meatless burger patties, kimchi mayonnaise, crisped onions, cucumbers, and sliced red chili peppers to the buns.
