INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups white rice
- 3 cups whole milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 lemon
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 zester
- 1 serving dish
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 lid
STEPS
Pour 6 cups of water into a pot and turn on the heat. Bring the water to a boil, then add the white rice and salt.
Pour the whole milk into the pot and stir with a wooden spoon. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Then remove the lid.
Zest the lemon with a zester.
Add the granulated sugar, butter, raisins, and vanilla extract to the pot and stir with a wooden spoon. Cook for 25 minutes, then add the lemon zest and half tsp of cinnamon. Stir again with a wooden spoon, then remove from the heat.
Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon.
