INGREDIENTS

  • 4 bananas
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whole grain wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ oz cooking spray

  • 1 loaf pan
  • 2 bowls
  • 1 knife
  • 1 fork
  • 1 oven
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 whisk

STEPS

Peel the bananas.


Put the peeled bananas in a bowl and mash them with a fork.


Add the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and one cup of water to the bowl.


Whisk the contents of the bowl to get a banana mixture.


Put the whole grain wheat flour, baking powder, and salt in a second bowl. Mix with a spoon to get a dry mixture.


Transfer the dry mixture to the banana mixture and whisk to get a batter.


Preheat the oven to 350°F for 15 minutes.


Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and place in a hot oven. Bake for 60 minutes.


Turn off the heat and remove the loaf pan from the oven. Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut into slices.
