INGREDIENTS
- 4 tbsp pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups basil
- 5 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup olive oil

- 1 toaster tray
- 1 grater
- 1 knife
- 1 food processor
- 1 jar
- 1 fridge
- 1 jar lid
STEPS
Peel the garlic.
Preheat the toaster oven for 15 minutes.
Put the pine nuts in a toaster tray. Then place the toaster tray in a hot toaster oven and toast for 3 minutes or until the pine nuts are lightly browned. Remove the toaster tray from the toaster oven and turn off the heat.
Shred the parmesan cheese with a grater.
Put the toasted pine nuts in a food processor. Add the peeled garlic, shredded parmesan cheese, basil, and salt to the food processor. Blitz for 2 minutes. Then add the olive oil and blitz again to get a smooth paste.
Transfer the smooth paste to a jar and cover with a lid. Chill in the fridge for 60 minutes, then remove from the fridge.
