INGREDIENTS
- 8 tomatoes
- 4 tbsp kosher salt
- 3 tbsp black pepper
- a quarter cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp thyme leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
TOOLS
- 1 oven
- 1 knife
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 serving plate
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 480°F for 22 minutes.
Cut the tomatoes into slices.
Place the tomato slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt, black pepper, granulated sugar, and thyme leaves.
Put the baking sheet in a hot oven.
Roast for 3 hours.
Turn off the heat and remove the baking sheet from the oven.
Transfer to a serving plate.
