INGREDIENTS
- an eighth tsp black pepper
- a quarter tsp salt
- 2 leeks
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 apples

- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 colander

STEPS
Trim the leeks. Cut the trimmed leeks in half and rinse under running water.
Drain the leek halves in a colander.
Slice the drained leeks. Halve and deseed the apples, then slice them.
Put 1 tsp of butter in a skillet pan and turn on the heat. Add the leek slices to the skillet pan and stir with a wooden spoon. Cook for 3 minutes to get fried leeks.
Transfer the fried leeks to a platter.
Put the apple slices and 1 tsp of butter in the skillet pan and stir with a wooden spoon. Cook for 3 minutes, then add the fried leeks, salt, and black pepper. Stir with a wooden spoon for 3 minutes, then remove from the heat. Transfer the contents of the skillet pan to the platter.
